A New York Minute

Hello all!

Here is my little bite of the big apple:
Friday arrived in NYC, checked in to our hotel right on Times Square (the W..it was okay) and went for a beer. This is where Barbie joined us.

The view from my hotel was pretty good.
But the one from Rockefeller Centre was better:

We went to MoMA Friday night and lucky for us it was free entry (Friday nights from 4-8pm). I am not sure if this is all of the time, but it worked out for me :) After the museum we were pretty tired and went back to the hotel.

Saturday morning we got on the subway and made out way to the financial district which is near where we got on our helicopter for a tour of NYC!

After we finished our tour we walked from Wall Street back to Times Square through SoHo, Greenwich Village, Chelsea and the Garment District. We made a detour so we could see Grand Central Station:

That night we went to see Broadway on Broadway. Our show was Wicked and it did live up to its name. The way this plays on the Wizard of Oz is great and I love that Dorothy was just a pawn in Oz.

Sunday we went to Central Park: and walked along 5th Ave. Barbie had an Audrey moment.

Sunday afternoon my friend and I took the bus back to Boston. Monday night I went to see Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls. It was fairly entertaining and quite the ex-spear-ience :) You can see the Madonna influence on Ms.Spears.

Tuesday morning I donned my Irish charms and boarded the plane. It was a world wind trip and I loved every minute of it. :)

And I completed one of the goals on the list I posted on July 25th!
