Wednesday Wedding-ness day

It's going to take over my life. Let's be clear about it right from the start. As much as I would love to be one of those people you don't want to hide from your Facebook feed because she's updating you on wedding details 18 times a day, this is going to be the next big project in my life. And there are a lot of details. And I have never done this before. And feel a bit overwhelmed thinking about all of these details.

And so, to be fair to my friends (and to hopefully have them not annoyed with me and still want to attend the actual wedding), I am going to try and restrain myself from Facebook updates. And to not turn this entire blog into my wedding obsession, I have deemed Wednesdays to be the day that I discuss all of the details, thoughts, china patterns, colours and (mis)adventures (mrs-adventures???) that are most likely going to consume my day-to-day life (and based on the last few nights, my dream life too). And it's super convenient that I also get to employ my love for alliteration with choosing Wednesdays for this.

So, feel free to avoid my blog on Wednesdays for the next year and a bit (but no, we don't have a specific date just yet -- seriously considering hanging a calendar on the dart board). Or comment lots and offer me advice. Because this is a huge project that I have no experience in and about to jump in with both feet.

Yay! Love this new feature on your blog. Words of advice... my BFF was super annoying with her wedding but it was easily avoidable.
1) If you are going to have multiple bridal showers, receptions, bachlorettes don't expect your bridal party to help out, attend, give gifts at everyone. Especially when you are having a desination wedding that costs the guests $$$.
2) Let the bridesmaids have a little say on their dresses and don't harp them about weightloss. No, I'm not kidding.

This bridezilla is famous because of her antics. Ahaha good thing I love that girl. It was the endless wedding! It literally went on for half a year. End Rant!

BF hasn't asked me but we talk about getting married. The main thing that stops him is the cost so I made him a bet I could plan a wedding under a certain budget. He accepted the challenge. So now I'm saving and dreaming. I can't wait to see what you are planning! EEEk!

My girls are beautiful and (even though it's my queen day),it's their princess day. I already know I want dresses they feel confident in, in colours that compliment their skin tones and shapes that flatter their bodies. And they are in charge of the stagette/shower. I have faith they will be lovely affairs. but that's all I know about my wedding at this point. ;-)

You're a good friend for putting up with a true Bridezilla, I have been lucky the times I was in a wedding party and my bride friends were fabulous to work with. They also had clear ideas about what they wanted and didn't micro manage :)

Oh! And often talking about getting married can lead to surprise walks in the park with bended knees ;-)

A girl can dream ;)

Yes, I'm sorry I ranted on your lovely post. It was only true wedding experience and I suppose I am still scarred.
Watching her get married was incredible though. I blubbered like a baby.
I can't wait to see all the the amazing things in store for the two of you. Best wishes xoxoxo
