Rockin' around the Christmas tree

Friday night was my company's Christmas Party. This year our entertainment was Kim Mitchell of "Patio Lantern" fame and I was really excited as I know quite a few of his songs. The icing on the cake was at 7:30 when the President of our company announced the surprise guest was Steven Page of Bare Naked Ladies fame. Steven came out, played many of his BNL songs while standing on the back of a truck. Very fun. Kim Mitchell was later on and really rocked out.

The food was pretty good again this year...I fell in love with butternut squash risotto and aged cheddar sliders. And there was a hot chocolate station where you could add different flavoured whipping creams to your hot chocolate and sprinkles. There was also a Christmas Candy stop where you were allowed to fill up paper bags with candy.

Once again another amazing party hosted by my company.

Wow. Seriously? That sounds really amazing. Different flavoured whipped cream for hot chocolate! Who knew?

And the rest sounds pretty good, too! ;)

The BNLs put on a rocking live show. How neat to have part of them at your office party.
